In the trucking and shipping business there are times when just having a good set of CAM chains is not good enough. This is particularly the case when dealing in heavier icy conditions and your freight is critical. No chain will compensate for everything; however, you will be hard pressed to find a commercial grade tire chain for your truck that will give you better traction than the Supergreifsteg will. Fitting is quick and easy. Layout the chain mesh behind the tire making sure that the inner and outer side chains are correctly positioned. Lay the fitting chain over the tire and close the ends. Hook the chain mesh onto the tensioning chain with the lateral attachment hooks. Slowly drive about one wheel revolution forward. This draws the chain mesh onto the tire. The locking part should then be freely accessible. Unhook the attachment hooks from the tensioning chain--first from the inside, then from the outside. Fasten the chain mesh with the inner and outer attchment hooks. Open the tensioning chain and remove it completely. Tighten the snow chain on the tire with tensioning chain that runs through the pull through eyelets. Pulling again helps acheive the correct tension. Hook the fastening hook through the next attainable link and close.
