I live in SW NY and we see our fair share of snow up here. A friend has a set of RUD Olympia Sprints chains for his S10 pickup. I do not personally own these chains, but I have drove his truck with the chains on and I can tell you they make a huge difference in taking off and stopping. That’s what prompted me to check this site out and to consider buying a set of these chains for my truck. After looking around locally and on the web, you have the most affordable prices I’ve seen thus far.
I recently purchased a set of the Olympia Sprints chains for my Truck. My more expensive Thule chains had fallen apart after two seasons of snow camping and could no longer be repaired. The Olympia Sprints are much less expensive and much more heavy duty. This was the first snow camping trip (miles of deep snow off road trails in NoCAL) that my chains did not fall off. Since off road snow conditions are always different it’s difficult to get a performance review, however these chains performed flawlessly with no breaks, stayed on my tire, minimal tightening and the best part I didn’t get stuck.
