Flirtation with Pewag

About a year ago I had a short lived period where I was selling the Pewag brand of tire chains mixed with the RUD selection. There was some good and bad about this. The good was that there were some areas where the RUD product and the Pewag product actually complemented itself well as their niches are not the same. The negative side was that there is evidently some long standing animosity between the two companies (or shall I say that is what I perceived to be the case). But lets face it, both companies have been in the industry for many years. Both companies sell very good chains.

However, after going a few months of selling the Pewag brand, I gave up on it.

1. The high quantity sales of Pewag are not the Pewag line at all but the Glacier line which I was mostly excluded from selling.
2. I received a high percentage of returns due to fittament problems.

So when you combine low volume with high returns, that means leftover stock and a drain on the cash flow. So if you want the Pewag line of chains, you best go to e-trailer.com because you wont find them here.
