Tire Cables
Tire cables is the low end item sold by RUD for the budget minded. They do improve traction and handle the minimum set of requirements for the regulations of most states when tire chains are required.

There is a top and a bottom with tire cables. Make certain that the open end of the cross cable connectors is pointing outward. On front wheel drive vehicles, it is easiest to install if you begin with the front wheels completely turned to the left. Drape the cables over the tire. Back up the tire about 1/8 of a turn so that you can grasp the free ends that have the round nubbins on it. Connect the nubbins into the securing device.

Installation is not that difficult; however, it does require a lot more muscle then the installation of the other more sophisticated Rud brands such as the Grip.
